Me and my friend did this quest while bringing 12 artifacts, we couldn't find the backpack but us being a dumbass went to that tree with black hole anomaly surrounding it trying find it and then boom i got sucked in and my 6 artifacts went flying while some random Stalker is watching us and then my friend tries to get my artifacts but he died too, dropping the other 6 artifacts. That one stalker got free 12 artifacts by just watching two monkeys climbing a tree
